Terms of Service

The agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and TwelveAI for your use of Twelve Studio. By creating an account or using the service you accept them, together with the Acceptable Use Policy, the Privacy Policy and the Refund and Cancellation Policy. If you use Twelve Studio for a business, you accept these terms on its behalf and confirm you can.

Your account

You must be at least 18 and give accurate details. Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly at tech@twelveai.app if you think your account has been used without permission.

Plans, limits and billing

• Twelve Studio offers a free plan and paid plans, described on the pricing page. Each plan has limits, such as the maximum length of a video and the number of videos per calendar month.
• Paid plans are billed monthly in US dollars, in advance, through TwelveAI Business, and renew automatically until cancelled.
• You can cancel at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, then your account returns to the free plan. Refunds are covered by the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
• If a payment fails we may retry it, and we may move your account to the free plan if it stays unpaid.
• We may change prices or plan limits. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of a price increase, and it applies from your next billing period.
• Videos rendered on the free plan carry a small "Made with Twelve Studio" mark.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload or write, and of the videos Twelve Studio renders for you. You give TwelveAI a limited licence to host, copy, process and display your content only to provide and improve the service for you, including sending text to the writing assistant when you use it. This licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies we must keep by law or in short-lived backups.

You confirm you have the rights needed for everything you put into Twelve Studio, including screenshots of websites, images, clips, logos and music.

Voices and the writing assistant

Narration is produced by synthetic voices. They are not recordings of real people, and you may use the narration in the videos you render, including commercially. Do not present a synthetic voice as a real, named person.

The writing assistant can be wrong. It may produce inaccurate or incomplete text. Review everything before you publish; you are responsible for the claims your videos make.

Acceptable use

You agree to follow the Acceptable Use Policy. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break it.

Our service

We work to keep Twelve Studio available and reliable, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and render times vary with demand. We may change or remove features. If we discontinue Twelve Studio, we will give you reasonable notice to download your videos.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using Twelve Studio and ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or does not pay. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to download your content.

Disclaimers

Except as required by law, Twelve Studio is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, TwelveAI is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to Twelve Studio is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 50 US dollars. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Indemnity

You agree to cover TwelveAI's reasonable costs from third-party claims arising from your content or your breach of these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For significant changes we will notify you by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Twelve Studio after that means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction, without removing any mandatory consumer protections where you live.
